A large part of our fifth grade curriculum focuses on community outreach and activism. We are proud to partner with the following local organizations.
UT Little Longhorns have a passion for clean water. In previous years, UTES fifth graders have partnered with H2O For Life to pro
vide clean drinking water and latrines to villages in Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Sudan. Each Spring, our Little Longhorns walk three miles around Town Lake while carrying a gallon of water, building our empathy and awareness for those who struggle for clean water each day.
We are excited to announce our new partnership with Water to Thrive, an Austin based organization on a mission to provide clean water for countries in Africa.
